Bespoke Design Process

Work alongside Eloise to design your own unique, specialised piece, crafted to last a lifetime.   All custom pieces are handmade using your choice of recycled 9ct, 14ct or 18ct yellow, rose or white gold as well as ethically sourced hand-cut gemstones.

Begin your design journey by booking a 45 min consultation with Eloise, either virtually or from our CBD Studio - 813/37 Swanston St, Melbourne.   To do so, click here and select Bespoke Consultation from the options provided. Bookings are open 3 months in advance. If you do not see any consult times available in the next 3 months, you can wait for more times to be released or email us to contact you if there are any cancelations

 A $60 deposit is required to confirm your booking, which is later redeemable from the final cost of your piece. This deposit is non refundable.

Your design consultation is the perfect opportunity for us to get to know one another and for you to share your ideas, inspirations, gem and metal preferences, budget and timeline. It’s also the time to tell us more about who you are and the stories, interests or memories you hold dear.

We will guide you on how to select gemstones from our responsibly sourced collection or showcase what we can source for you from our trusted suppliers.

Taking these sentiments and preferences into consideration, Eloise will evolve your ideas into a single clear direction by sketching an initial design for your personalised piece.

The minimum budget for bespoke designs is $2500AUD, however the price for your piece will be determined by metal and gem choice and piece complexity. 

Staying connected...

We see bespoke design as a communal journey between artist and client and therefore endeavour to keep you informed along the way as we materialise your vision. After your consultation, we will send you a summary of what was discussed. 

Deposit…

Once approved a 50% deposit is required and the production process will begin.  Bespoke pieces take 12-16 weeks from deposit payment to come to fruition so please inform us of any important dates we should be aware of.

Sketches and gemstones...

Sometimes gemstones are selected during the consultation however other times require us to do extra stone sourcing. We will reach out to our trusted suppliers and send you options, pictures and quotes for beautiful gemstones that will work in your special piece. 

One all stones are chosen, Eloise will draft up a detailed digital sketch for you to review and approve  before moving onto crafting the wax model. 

Our favourite part…

All of Eloise's bespoke pieces are handmade in Melbourne from start to finish. She uses the Lost Wax Method which involves designing the piece as a wax model first before having it cast in the desired metal.

To aid the visualisation process she will send you images of your wax model before having it cast to ensure you are completely happy with the design.
 
Once cast, your piece is on the final legs of its creation journey. Stones will be securely set in place and the piece will be cleaned and polished to your desired finish. Now, it is ready for you and distinctly yours!
